Community

One learner.
Plenty of room for you.

Friends, family, neighbors, and people with a story to share: you can help make Ti’s seventh-grade year richer.

Be part of the journey

You don’t need to teach a class to make a difference.

Follow a question

Browse the curriculum, read alongside Ti, or return to his Journey page as selected work is shared.

Share something real

A skill, a career story, feedback on a letter, or a thoughtful introduction can become part of a project.

Encourage the next attempt

Ask about the process. Celebrate effort and revision. Help Ti see that his ideas have an audience.

Ways to take part

Bring your experience, not a perfect lesson plan.

These are invitations for future activities. Trevor coordinates introductions, timing, and what can be shared publicly.

Be a career interview guest

Tell Ti what a normal workday looks like, how you got started, and what surprised you. His annual report will compare what he learns from different working lives.

Who can help: people in any field, especially those who enjoy explaining their work.

Write back

The communications exploration starts with handwritten letters to favorite companies. Help identify a public mailing address, offer kind feedback on a draft, or respond if your business receives a letter.

What matters: a genuine reply and a chance to practice—not a promise of free products.

Share a hands-on skill

Introduce a small, achievable project in baking, gardening, woodworking, illustration, coding, filmmaking, or another craft. Materials, supervision, and timing are arranged with Trevor.

Read alongside Ti

Pick a book from the Grade 7 shelf and compare notes. Ask what changed his mind, what a character missed, or which scene he would rewrite.

Offer a thoughtful connection

Know a museum educator, local maker, or professional who enjoys sharing their experience? Ask their permission before connecting them with Trevor.

Support the next experience

Explore a future readathon, help shape school-spirit products, or suggest a practical resource. Giving time and encouragement is just as welcome as financial support.
